Cripta Oculta was created in 2004 to glorify the pre-christian Europe, Lusitanian people, heroes and the will of the Earth Gods. Although We glorify Europe We are not followers of Norse Paganism like a lot of bands around who claim to be so. Not that We do not respect it but merely because We do not directly identify ourselves with it. We are Sons of Endovelicus and Ataegina and We belong to Lusitânia. This is our Homeland. Traditions and Folk that We should prevent from being lost belong to this forgotten country. We do not identify with and We do not want to be related to Portugal as it is a country with christian roots since its foundation and consequently the disgrace of what We praise and what We intend to honour. We do not believe in politics therefore We are not affiliated with any sort of political movement, however, Cripta Oculta is a Nationalist band. We are here not to glorify Portugal but to glorify what once was Lusitânia. The Past is alive!!!
Our music is inspired by the 70's early Metal ranging to the 90's Black Metal... that was when it all died. Black Metal is nothing but a corpse now, not even a shade of what it was in the Past. At the current time, Our Cult is constantly being abused and humiliated by trends who use Black Metal for numerous things but its main purpose: to make the monotheist "god" fall from his throne and send him to the everlasting oblivion along with his miserable and decadent "empire". We cannot permit that trends and jews continue disrespecting Our Cult as it is something that lies beyond them... something which they will never presence, feel or understand in its purest and true essence... Anti-judeochristianity!!!
